LIC AAO 2025 Exam Selection procedure:
What is the selection procedure for the LIC AAO 2025 Exam?
LIC AAO Exam consists of the Preliminary stage, Mains stage and the interview stage.
LIC AAO 2025 Exam consists of three stages which are as follows:
i) Preliminary Stage: The exam in this stage tests the student’s ability in reasoning, quantitative aptitude and English language and grammar skills. Marks obtained in this stage will not be considered for the preparation of final merit list. This exam is only qualifying in nature.
ii) Mains stage: The exam in this stage will test the student’s ability in reasoning, quantitative aptitude, Data analysis and interpretation, General Knowledge and Current Affairs. Descriptive test of English language and Communication skills will be held for those candidates who qualify the objective exam. Marks obtained here will not be considered for final ranking.
iii) Interview: This is the final stage of the selection procedure in which a candidate will be tested on his personality skills, general awareness, problem solving abilities and analytical skills. Only those candidates who pass the Mains exam will be called for the interview.

II) MAINS EXAMINATION
The Mains paper will be of 300 marks and the descriptive test will be of 25 marks. There will be five sections and candidates will have to qualify for each section separately. The descriptive test will begin immediately after the objective test. There will not be any negative marks.

iii) Interview:
Marks obtained by the candidate in the Mains exam will be evaluated for determining the eligibility for interview. The total marks in interview are 60. The minimum qualifying marks for Unreserved, EWS OBC category candidates are 30 while for SC/STs, it is 27. It is mandatory for students to get the minimum qualifying marks in order to be considered for further evaluation.
A student is basically tested on his personality skills, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, self-awareness and knowledge about finance and insurance.
