Air Force Common Entrance Test
AFCAT is the most important test conducted by the Indian Air Force itself. This test is conducted to acquire the class 1 gazetted officers in flying and ground duties for non-technical as well as technical activities. AFCAT is considered to be one of the most coveted exams, so it sees a large number of applicants. The exam takes place twice a year in the months of February and August. The qualifications for this exam is that a candidate should have scored a percentage of 60% in math and physics each in 12th class, graduation degree is also required, irrespective of any field from a recognised University. The duration of the test is 2 hours and the question paper consists of 100 questions of 3 marks each, for total of 300. The AFCAT paper comprises four sections with objective-type questions in English. The subjects of the exam are General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Reasoning and Military Aptitude test and Numerical Ability.
