Central Armed Police Forces
CAPF is an examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)+. It is conducted every year to recruit the candidates for various paramilitary forces in India. These forces are very crucial as they ensure the safety and security in sensitive and prone areas, also they maintain law and order and ensure proper carrying out of the duties. To be able to appear for this examination, a candidate must be between the age of 20-25 years with a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized university or college and you should be a citizen of India.
The CAPF is divided into two stages, Written examination- which further includes two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2, followed by the second stage, i.e, Physical Efficiency Test. The selection stage also includes an interview or personality test. In the written examination, the duration of paper 1 is 2 hours and 3 hours for paper 2. Paper 1 is an objective type with the total of 250 marks, followed by paper 2 which is a descriptive type with 200 marks.
