Introduction:

JEE Mains is an all-India competitive exam that is conducted by the government-regulated body, National Testing Agency (NTA) for undergraduate engineering and architecture courses. Recently, NTA has released a notification announcing the dates of session 1 and session 2 of the JEE MAINS exam at the official website of jeemain.nta.nic.in

How to apply:

Follow the steps given below to apply for the exam:

  • Registration: Fill out the registration form with accurate information.
  • Filling the Form: Provide personal information, educational qualifications, select the exam city, and apply for the exam.
  • Upload Photograph: Upload your recent photo, signature, address proof, category certificate, and PwD certificate (if applicable)
  • Fee Payment: Pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. Finally, print the application fees.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Candidate must have passed Class 12 Board Exam in 2022, 2023 or appearing in 2023.
    • Candidate must be in the final year of 10+2 examination.
    • Candidates from intermediate or pre-University examinations conducted by a recognized board/ University are eligible.
    • The Joint Service Wing of the National Defense Academy candidate is eligible if they have completed a two-year course.
    • Candidates who passed 10+2 conducted by the National Institute of Opening Schooling (NIOS) with minimum of five subjects are eligible.
    • A 3-year year diploma holder is also eligible.
    • NIOS students appearing for 10+2 should select their State for eligibility.

    JEE Mains Exam Pattern:

    NTA has introduced a major change in the exam pattern in Section B for paper 1 and 2. According to the notification, Section A will contain 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) per subject, while section B will only contain 5 Numerical Value Type Questions per subject. In section B, the candidate will have the option of attempting all five questions. Candidates may refer to the following table for further clarification:

    JEE Mains Syllabus 2025: 

    The syllabus for JEE MAINS 2025 covers the entire NCERT syllabus of physics, chemistry and mathematics of class IX and XII. Following table shows the subject-wise division of the most important topics from exam point of view:

    Downloading Admit Cards:

    The admit card for JEE MAINS 2025 will be made available on the official website of jeemain.nta.ac.in three days before the exam. The applicant has to provide the application number and date of birth to download it.

    Declaration of results:

    NTA will announce the results will be announced few weeks after its conduct. Students are urged to regularly keep checking the website for updates.

    ·       Candidates must not wear any cloth consisting of metallic items. Metallic items cause problems during frisking and must be avoided
