Every year, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts an all-India competitive exam for recruitment for the posts of Probationary Officer (PO), Officer 2 and 3 and Office Assistants (Clerks) in the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs).

Follow the steps given below to apply for IBPS RRB 2025 Exam:

Visit the official website of the IBPS i.e. www.ibps.in.

Click on the link “CRP for RRBs” and then click on the link with the post for which you wish to apply i.e. either for “Officer grade Scale I, II and III” or “Officer Assistants (Multipurpose)”.

Register for the New Application Form.

Fill up the application form with essential personal details like address, mail ID, guardian’s name etc.

Upload scanned documents of your photograph, signature, educational qualifications etc.

For the Officer Assistant (Multipurpose) or Officer scale I, II and III, candidates must select the states/Union territories which he/she opts for provisional allotment upon selection.

IBPS RRB Exam Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for IBPS RRB Exam, a candidate has to fulfil the following criteria:
A). Nationality:
1.) A candidate must be a citizen of India or Nepal. a subject of Bhutan or
2). a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 intending to permanently settle in India or
3.) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
B). Language Proficiency: A candidate applying to posts of Office
Assistant are required to have proficiency in the local languages of the States in which that respective RRB is situated.

IBPS RRB 2025 Exam Selection Process:
The IBPS RRB 2025 Exam involves a three stage selection process that includes Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Interview. Further details are as follows:
i) Preliminary Exams: Candidates are tested on Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability. It is of 80 marks and the time duration is 45 minutes.
ii) Mains Exams: Candidates are tested on Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness Paper, English/Hindi Language Paper and Numerical Ability. It is of 200 marks and the time duration is 120 minutes.
iii) Interview: Candidates are tested on their overall personality. Problem-solving abilities, analytical skills and awareness about current affairs and issues concerning banking and finance are the major thrust areas from which questions are asked.
