On December 17th, SBI Clerk 2024-25 notification was released. It gave important dates like Prelims Exam Date 2024, Prelims Mains Date 2024, SBI clerk age criteria/ educational qualification etc. January 7, 2025 is the last date for filling of forms.

Eligibility Criteria

What are the age criteria/ educational qualification required for SBI Clerk?

If you are an Indian citizen, you are eligible for SBI Clerk granted you have these following qualifications.

Education

· Graduate degree in any stream from a recognized University

· Or any equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government

· Degree showing date when relevant degree was earned

· Students in final year can apply provisionally but need to produce proof of having passed the exam before joining

Age Limit

· Not below 20 years

· Not above 28 Years

· Born not earlier than 02.08.1994

· Born not later than 1.08.2002 (both dates included)

Age Relaxation Given

· SC/ST – 5 Years

· OBC – 3 Years

· PWD (Gen/EWS) 10 Years

· PWD (ST/ST) 15 Years

· PWS (OBC) – 13 Years

· Ex-Servicemen/ Disabled Ex-Servicemen – actual period of service rendered in defense services + 3 Years

· Disabled Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST) 8 Years subject to max age of 50 years Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands & not remarried

· General/ EWS – 7 years subject to max age limit of 35 years

· OBC – 7 Years subject to max age limited of 38 years

· SC/ST – 7 Years subject to max age of 40 years

Note: candidates seeking age relaxation are required to submit copies of necessary certificate at the of admission

Exam Pattern

Divided into Prelims and Mains, SBI Clerk Exam pattern 2024-25 is as follows:

Mains Exam: 4 sections and carries 200 marks.

Wrong Answer results in negative ¼ Marks deduction.
