Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) conducts an all-India competitive exam every year to recruit candidates for various administrative posts in the state government. In all, the government has released a total of 385 vacancies in State Service, Forest Service and Engineering (Civil) Services. Following sections provide a detailed information regarding important dates, eligibility criteria, syllabus, preparation tips and strategies and much more.

  • Login using your credentials to apply for the Civil Services Examination. 

  • After login, click on the post in which you want to apply. 

  • Fill the required details and complete the registration process

  • Upload the required documents 

  • Complete the application process by paying the fees

A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university 

  1. Age Limit: 

The minimum age for applying MPSC Exam is 19 years. The maximum age limit for candidates belonging to various social categories: 

  • General: 38 years 

  • OBC: 41 years 

  • SC/ST: 43 years 

  • PwD: 45 years 

  • Ex-Servicemen: Service years/3 years 

  1. Nationality

The candidate must be an Indian citizen. Preference will be given to those candidates who belong to Maharashtra.

MPSC 2025 Exam Selection Process : 

The MPSC exam consists of three stages i.e. i) Prelims  ii) Mains iii) Interview. 

The prelims exam tests a candidate’s knowledge of general studies and basic aptitude like English language skills, logical reasoning and analytical skills, mathematical aptitude and problem solving abilities etc. 

The Mains exam tests a student’s abilities on a range of subjects that include history, geography, politics, human resouce development etc. 

  The interview stage will be conducted only for those candidates who qualify the Mains exam. Candidates’ are tested on their personality skills, decision-making abilities, general awareness and current affairs, especially those related to Maharashtra.

MPSC 2025 Salary Structure: 

The salary structure  is divided into A, B and C classes. It is as follows: 

Class A: Rs. 56000-250000

Class B: Rs. 38600-128800

Class C: Rs. 47600-151100
